Accountability, Governance and Performance Management
Sheffield First Partnership comprises of five thematic partnerships. Each differs significantly in constitution and approach. They are, however, all part of the Sheffield First Partnership and have accepted this status. In doing so these groups agreed to work as part of Sheffield First Partnership and to adhere to certain requirements as part of this Local Strategic Partnership.
Sheffield First Partnership, like most Local Strategic Partnerships, is a complex body, though all its different parts share the same goals and transformational aspirations for the city.
An Accountability and Governance handbook has been developed that sets out how the Partnership works as a whole to ensure delivery of the ambitions contained within the City Strategy. Our approach sees effective accountability, governance and performance management as maximising the ability of the Partnership to deliver real improvements and growth for the city. In defining our processes, we aim to ensure clarity and structure, leading to better delivery.
