WALKTALK
WALKTALK is an ambitious and challenging initiative offering a wide variety of people of all ages – representing a broad spectrum of opinions and ideas – new opportunities to meet, walk and talk with each other about matters of belief and conscience, especially those that are most challenging and divisive.
In July 2008 a small key team of WALKTALKERS started their month-long walk from Leeds to London, passing through towns and cities along the way.
Sheffield City Council in partnership with Sheffield First Partnership hosted WALKTALK as it passed through Sheffield. The Lord Mayor welcomed the group as they arrived in Sheffield on Thursday 24 July.
