Kirstie Haines
New Deputy Director for Sheffield First Partnership
 
Sheffield First Partnership welcomes Kirstie Haines as the new permanent Deputy Director.
 
Kirstie's career has ranged across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, including roles as an Associate with the Young Foundation leading research into Local Innovation and Neighbourhoods, as the manager of Lewisham Strategic Partnership, and as Scrutiny Manager for Surrey County Council. Kirstie started her career as a supermarket manager with Safeways and later managed a customer services team for British Telecoms before moving to a post at Bristol City Council.
 
Her experience includes working with councillors on their roles in neighbourhood arrangements, developing community engagement in areas of deprivation, supporting councillors' scrutiny role, contributing expert evidence to a Parliamentary Select Committee and developing a Local Area
Agreement.
 
She remains committed to pursuing practical ways to acheive local people's aspirations through partnerships.
