SFP Welcomes New Board Members
 
Sheffield First Partnership (SFP) is pleased to welcome two new private sector board members to complete this year’s round of recruitment.
 
Beverley Webster, Managing Director of Prosperis Ltd and Suzanne Liversidge, Partner of Halliwells LLP are the latest private sector recruits, and join Marina Larios Director of Inova Consultancy and Nick Tovey, Director of Wardell Armstrong, both of whom became board members in May.
 
"I am delighted to be appointed to the board” says Suzanne Liversidge.  “As a passionate Sheffielder and business leader, I am committed to the ongoing development of our city both economically and socially. I will relish the opportunity to contribute to the board's ambitions and ensure Sheffield enjoys the success it deserves. "
 
Voluntary, community and faith sector representatives joining the Board this year include: David Roulston, Chief Executive of SheffCare; Debbie Matthews, Chief Executive of Manor and Castle Development Trust; and Mike Fitter, Chair of the Faith Forum.
 
In addition, the Board, which is chaired by Cllr Paul Scriven, Leader of the Council, has reviewed its statutory sector membership and those joining the Board in this capacity include: David Brown, Director General of South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive; Mark Smitherman, Chief Executive/Chief Fire Officer, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue; Sue White, Business Development and External Affairs Director, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals; and Tom Miskell, Group CEO, Pennine Housing 2000.
 
Director of SFP, Jane Brown comments, “We have made considerable changes to the Board this year to ensure we continue to have the right people to drive forward Sheffield’s ambitions.  We are pleased to have such a broad range of new members joining Sheffield First Partnership, the crucial work of the board will no doubt benefit from the experience and knowledge they will bring.”
