George Stammers

George first got involved directly in renewable energy whilst conducting research into energy efficiency and the use of renewables in schools at Nottingham University’s School of The Built Environment, and, consequently, always places emphasis on minimising energy use first then replacing what you can with renewable as the most efficient use of our resources.

George joined CO2Sense following a period of extended project evaluation which led to the delivery of a regional wood pellet mill.  George carried out the business planning, technical and commercial evaluations, and sought partners to deliver the project.
